‘Counting On’ Fans Sad Jessa Duggar Showing Skin For Money
Counting On fans feel a bit sad about Jessa Duggar Seewald showing some skin. However, they praised Jill Duggar and her sister, jinger for ditching the modesty dress codes that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar insisted on. Read on to find out why the attitude of TLC fans changed.
Jessa Duggar Fans Think She Wants To Be Michelle
Many fans thought that Jessa Seewald might want to pop out more than ten children. Well, Anna Duggar gave her some competition on that. Recently, she has been posting a lot on social media. and, it seems that she’s not likely to be exactly like her mom, Michelle Duggar even if she does have many more kids. That’s because she’s showing more skin these days as she does fitness promos.
Jinger Duggar Vuolo started wearing shorter dresses and even short pants before Jill Duggar Dillard. Wearing even long pants was a big no-no in Jim Bob’s book. But sometimes, even Jana Duggar wears them. Most TLC fans cheer them on. But, not everyone cheered for Jessa Duggar this week. Read on to find out why.
Counting On Fans Question Jessa’s Dress Code
A Counting On viewer took to Reddit to question what is going on with Jessa. Notably, some other fans wondered why the post seemed to diss her for doing what some of her sisters do. In the caption, the OP wrote:
This whole family has lost their way…Jessa is now showing off her legs for ad revenue. Even Jana, who learned photoshop just to cover up indecent body parts, wears shorts. They are a long way from home. What happened to the Duggar children? When did FOMO and greed/money overtake their religious self righteousness Did this all start because of Pest’s indiscretions made public? What does Dimbulb think about how the girls turned out? Was all of this an act by Dimbulb or was there a time when he genuinely believed in the cult?
In defense of Jessa Duggar, one person in the discussion said, “The phrasing of this post is very odd, it makes it seem like it’s a bad thing that they’re now dressing normally? I thought that was what we wanted them to do…”
However, the argument centered around the fact that sometimes, a cult can change dress codes to make it seem more appealing. In the comments, other TLC fans posted some observations:
- I actually think they dress more like cult members now than before. Cults prey on people by being appealing to them. The Duggars previous look was…. not appealing. Religious cult like groups are far more likely to gain new members when their members are conventionally attractive and live a desirable life …
- i’m calling them out for no longer living by the harsh standards and judgments they placed on others. they’ve always acted superior than the rest of society, and now they’re slowly becoming more mainstream.
- A lot of their “beliefs” were just a schtick for ratings. Which I’m sure gullible people fell for and forced upon their own families.
