Costner Opens Up About Shocking Drug Use
Recently, Kevin Costner opened up about his unexpected drug use on the set of his 2016 film, Hidden Figures. While filming the movie, everything started out according to plan. That was until Costner had to deal with a bout of kidney stones.
As anyone who has ever had kidney stones will tell you, it’s no walk in the park. Costner went on to say that during the last ten days of filming, he shot the movie with an IV drip of morphine to help with the pain. The actor even went on to say that he rolled his sleeves down while filming in order to hide the needle marks on his arms.
Yellowstone Actor Is The Definition Of Grit
Even with all the Yellowstone drama that Costner has been in regarding his departure from the hit show, like John Dutton and other tough characters that he plays on the screen, the actor is as tough as they come.
While dealing with kidney stones and being on morphine, Costner said that he never missed a day of filming. The actor is as professional as they come, and he clearly showed his commitment to his craft, even while dealing with everything that he was dealing with at the time.
These days, Costner has been busy promoting his Western epic, Horizon: An American Saga. At 69 years old, Costner is showing no signs of slowing down, which is good news for all of his fans, as he continues to make and star in the films he loves.
