Kourtney Kardashian Stresses Over Her Vagina ‘Falling Out’

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian shares she wasn’t concerned in the least about the “10 lbs” she needed to lose to return to her pre-pregnancy weight. While Kourtney Kardashian did a good job illustrating that prolapse can be serious, the Cleveland Clinic gives a description to clarify. Cleveland Clinic states, “Vaginal prolapse is a condition where your vagina slips out of position. It happens when the tissues and muscles in your pelvis weaken and overstretch.” Likewise, they add, “It’s more common in people who have had multiple vaginal deliveries during childbirth and have gone through menopause.”

She Explains What Helps

Although this isn’t Kourtney Kardashian’s first rodeo, prolapse is a real concern. It is especially a higher risk for mamas with more than one child through vaginal delivery. Kourtney is the mom to Rocky, Reign, Penelope, and Mason. Without a doubt, it can be a bit frightening to face the possibility of having this issue. Kourtney tells Kris Jenner, “Supposedly, there’s things you can do to keep it up there.” Her mom, says, “That makes sense, you should do Pilates.” While Kourtney was only focusing on walking, she agreed, “I’m doing Pilates tomorrow.”

While pilates is a good starting point for Kourtney Kardashian, it may not help someone avoid prolapse. Undeniably, Health talks about Pilates strengthening the pelvic floor. However, it may not be enough to address vaginal prolapse. Cleveland Clinics also states, “You can’t push a prolapsed vagina back up.” Notably, non-surgical suggestions for treatment include Kegel exercises and vaginal inserts. However, in more “severe cases” surgery may be necessary.
