These rumors came from a source who claimed that Jimmy and his wife, who is a writer on his talk show, might want to spend more time with seven-year-old Billy rather than put so much time into the late-night talk show. Young Billy has had three open-heart surgeries to correct a congenital heart defect since he was born, his most recent this year.
Jimmy and his wife, Molly McNearney, would consider “producing and developing shows behind the scenes.” Their main focus in life is on spending it with Billy.
