Jenn Trann Slams False Narratives Regarding ‘Bachelorette’ Role
Bachelorette Jenn Tran is doing media rounds as she gets ready for her season to premiere on ABC. When she was announced as the new lead many were shocked that it wasn’t Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas. In fact, both Daisy and Maria said they turned down the opportunity. Now that all this news has gotten back to Jenn she is speaking out about it and is quite disappointed. Jenn Tran Speaks Out On ‘Bachelorette’ Casting
Jenn Tran recently wrapped up filming her season of The Bachelorette and is speaking out about rumors. There were rumors right after Jenn was announced that she was the show’s third choice.
Jenn appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she dished on all the rumors surrounding her being cast as the lead. In the interview, she insinuated that perhaps there was some misinformation circulating around.
She said, “Obviously I didn’t have my phone at the time all of this was going down because we had went right into filming right after it was all announced. Coming back to all of that, yeah, obviously I was really disappointed to see all of that because, I mean, the truth of the matter is, there’s a lot of narratives out there and they’re not necessarily the truth.”
Jenn also explained that every season there are multiple potential leads having meetings, shooting intros and being considered for the role. She said it’s “never really you until it’s you.”
Many believed that Jenn was a last-minute choice and she says that is not true. She revealed that she had been in talks for months before finally getting the call.
Jenn said, “They asked me and I had the choice and I chose to do it. I said yes. The thing with the narrative sets out right now is it was disappointing to come back from this incredible journey for myself and then to see all the speculation around it and to almost have these things kind of take away from what my journey was.”

Where Does Jenn Stand With The Other Ladies
After saying what she did, Jenn Tran also noted that she and the other ladies are in a good place. It seems she holds no animosity toward either Daisy or Maria.
Of course, Daisy previously said she was the lead and decided to back out two weeks before After the Final Rose aired. Maria also said she was asked but decided it wasn’t the right time in her life. So, she too declined the offer. She had also said she knew how much Jenn wanted the opportunity.
