Gerry Turner Subtly Mocks His Ex-Wife
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner subtly mocked his ex-wife in a recent photo on Instagram. Rumors have been flying since he and Theresa Nist announced their divorce. The shocking news came just three months after they wed on national television.
Neither Gerry nor Theresa really made it clear why they decided to end things so soon. However, many are speculating that it has a lot to do with moving.
Even Susan Noles thinks Theresa may be more to blame in this situation. Most believe that Theresa was unwilling to budge when it came to actually leaving her job and home in New Jersey. It is speculated that she wasn’t very fond of Indiana.
It’s almost as if Gerry is confirming those rumors with his latest photo and mocking his ex at the same time. In his Instagram post, Gerry is standing with two ladies wearing a shirt that says, “Indiana, it’s not that bad!”
He captioned the post, “The Annual Poker Run on Big Long Lake shows the best of Indiana culture. Great friends coming together for fun and fundraising. Creative and hilarious Poker stops. Renewed friendships and a few adult beverages. Best lake day of the summer.”
Their Very Short Marriage
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were the very first Golden Bachelor couple with the very first Golden Wedding. They were sadly also the first Golden Bachelor couple to get divorced.
After only being together for a few months, they decided to not waste any time and get married very quickly. Just weeks after the season finale aired, Gerry and Theresa tied the knot on live television. The duo seemed happy and in love.
Little did fans know that only three months later they would be announcing their divorce. They decided life was too short to live unhappily.
After their divorce became final, Theresa announced that her daughter was expecting another baby. So, while she lost her husband she is gaining another grandchild.
