Hallmark Alum Ryan Paevey Makes A Big Social Media Change
Ryan Paevey has been in the entertainment headlines of late. That is because he is stepping back from acting in order to take care of his mental health and his mother who was diagnosed with lung cancer. That means the Unleashing Mr. Darcy star will not be acting in any Hallmark movies now, or in the near future. In addition, the actor will not be returning to General Hospital.
However, this is not the only change in Ryan’s life. He has made another big change. This has to do with his social media. What should his fans be aware of now?
Ryan Paevey Deletes Facebook Page
Just after Ryan Paevey apologized for misunderstanding how he was paid for his Hallmark residuals, he started to clean house. This began with deleting his Facebook page. He told fans on Instagram that he deleted this social media page.
In addition, he warned his fans about scammers. This is a problem he has dealt with for years. Therefore, he has decided that he is deleting this account.
Ryan Paevey Deletes Twitter
Next, in a separate IG post, Ryan Paevey announced he has also deleted his Twitter account. Therefore, those fans who followed him on that platform will not be seeing anything from him. However, he does warn again to be aware of scammers.
Does Hallmark Alum Still Have Any Social Media?
Ryan Paevey does have one social media account. This is Instagram. This is his only account. Therefore, if he should still do a fan meet-up at his Little Bro’s restaurant in November, fans can be in the know.
Also, fans can get his Fortunate Wanderer newsletter. He sends that out to advise fans when he is going to sell more jewelry. His Shopify store is open on specific dates and times. This was because items sold out fast.
However, last time around, he had packaged everything up. But, when he looked at his emails, some people asked to cancel their order. While understanding, he asked fans to be more thoughtful when purchasing items. He had to undo some work and realist the returned items.
Ryan Paevey Has Been Disillusioned With Hollywood Life
In the Heavy post where he decided to move on from acting, he revealed struggles with the business.
The industry hasn’t felt like the place for me in quite some time now, and my mental health has suffered from it. It’s taken me to a bit of a dark place, made me into a version of myself I don’t like very much. I’ve vented some of my anger and frustration publicly, and for that I apologize.
