‘Southern Charm’ Taylor Ann Green’s Brother’s Cause Of Death
The cause of death of Southern Charm star Taylor Ann Green’s brother is back from the coroner’s office. Green, who struggled through the last season of her reality TV show, also had to deal with personal problems at home. Her brother, Richard Worthington “Worth” Green, died.

What Was Southern Charm Star Taylor Ann Green’s Brother’s Cause Of Death?
Things were tough for Taylor Ann Green as she suffered through the breakdown of her relationship with Shep Rose during the recent season of Southern Charm — filmed last year. She also watched her former friend, Olivia Flowers, deal with the death of her brother while they filmed the show. Then, she had to deal with the same thing.
Green’s brother Worth died last June. He was only 36, and almost no details were released about his tragic passing at such a young age. Green gave her own tributes to her brother, as did her family. No one discussed what led to his death, though. However, one year later, his cause of death became public.
According to the autopsy report (via U.S. Sun), Worth died of an accidental overdose on June 8, 2023. His body was found in his bedroom in Raleigh, North Carolina. First responders to the scene found drug paraphernalia on his mattress. Those were the only specifics in the report about his death.
Taylor Ann Green Offered Her Sad Tribute After Brother’s Death
The death really hit the Southern Charm star hard. She posted a loving tribute to her brother on Instagram.

“We are going to miss your goofiness, your bear hugs, and that infectious laugh,” she wrote. “I will always admire the steadfast love you had for your family, friends (too many to count), your girlfriend and Jesus Christ. You truly went out on top of your game and we so look forward to seeing you again one day.”
She also added a quote by Groucho Marx, where he said, “Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let light in.”
The family also released a statement to PEOPLE at the time of his death, saying they would miss his personality and laughter. “Worth left this world on top of the world – he had a beautiful passion for life and cared deeply for those around him.”
Taylor Ann Green joined Southern Charm in the seventh season. She was dating Shep Rose at the time. They split up in 2022, and Green accused him of sleeping with “over 300 women” during the Season 8 reunion special.
