Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner has some advice for Joan Vassos as she begins her Golden Bachelorette journey. She actually began filming in Los Angeles a few days ago. Gerry Turner Has Advice For Joan Vassos
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner met Joan Vassos on his season. However, her family needed her at home so she made the difficult decision to leave. They did have a good connection and he was very disappointed when she left. Fans also loved Joan and were not thrilled when she left.
However, things are great now with Joan’s family and she’s getting another chance at love. Recently, she was announced as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. Joan began filming her season just a few days ago. Now everyone will have to wait until Fall to see if she falls in love.
As she prepared to start her journey, she revealed what advice Gerry had for her.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Joan prior to filming where she spilled the tea. She said his message was to use time wisely. She said, “He exemplified somebody who is very open and vulnerable. He said that’s what you need to be from day one, because you don’t have a lot of time. This is a quick journey. You can’t leave anything on the table. I feel like day one, starting conversation one, everything you do here is important.”
Her Thoughts On Being The Golden Bachelorette
When Joan Vassos had to leave The Golden Bachelor she thought people would forget who she is. They didn’t and now she’s getting the chance of a lifetime. She is nervous about her journey but also very excited.
Joan does feel a little pressure when it comes to finding love. However, she is looking at how the show has had such a positive impact on people. It’s hard to get out and meet people organically. She mentioned there are so many ways to meet someone these days and doing it on television is just one of many.
So far she’s already gained a lot from her short time on The Golden Bachelor. Not only does Joan get to be The Golden Bachelorette she gets to have lifelong friends in all the women she met along the way.
