‘RHOBH’ Teddi Mellencamp Headed To ‘RHOC’?
Is former RHOBH star, Teddi Mellencamp headed over to RHOC? Taylor Armstrong was the first housewife to cross franchises. She lasted one season on the OC as a “friend of” before they did not welcome her back. Could Teddi be following in her footsteps? Keep reading for more details on what might be happening.
RHOBH Teddi Mellencamp Headed To RHOC?
Teddi Mellencamp first started on RHOBH in Season 8 becoming fast friends with Lisa Vanderpump. By Season 9, that ended and she was thick as thieves with Kyle Richards. In Season 10, she was pregnant and then, she was canned from the show. Yet, Teddi still attended some dinners and parties due to her closeness with Kyle and some of the other ladies. Since then, she has focused on her business and started a podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, with RHOC star Tamra Judge. They have a great time talking about all things Bravo and chatting with Bravolebs.
Now, Teddi is opening up about why she is officially done with RHOBH. She did not note whether or not she had been invited back but, according to Reality Tea, she does not fit in with the ladies in Beverly Hills. While chatting to Tamra on their podcast, Teddi had this to say:
“I don’t think I would ever come back to Beverly Hills. There’s no self-deprecation in Beverly Hills, and that’s a huge part of who I am. It’s making fun of myself.”
More so, Teddi added that the ladies could be “stuffy” and she was told not to down herself, such as saying she was a “hot mess” as it would be used. However, the mother of three did not seem to care despite making it seem that her authenticity wasn’t fun. At the same time, she did appear on Season 18 of RHOC in a Traitors style segment and admittedly, really liked it:
“I filmed with Tamra once this season, and I said to her [afterward] … ‘The most fun I had filming [Housewives] was doing that episode of Orange County.'”
Of course, fans know that Teddi Mellencamp and Vicki Gunvalson do have beef with each other. They were asked to squash it at BravoCon but that did not happen.
Where Is Teddi Today?
Aside from her very popular podcast, Teddi Mellencamp fought skin cancer and documented her journey along the way. She also underwent a neck lift and recently showed off her loose tummy skin which has been a huge insecurity for her. As for whether or not she would sign on for RHOC, she did not say either way. However, if the fans receive her well, maybe there could be more guest appearances in Season 19. Other than that, she appears to be content away from the Housewives and prefers just talking about them.
