RHOBH star Kyle Richards is giving a surprising update on her relationship with cast mate, Dorit Kemsley. The two were once thick at thieves and then, things just soured between the two. So, where do they stand right now? Keep reading for more details.
Kyle Richards Gives Surprise Update On Dorit Relationship
The moment that Dorit Kemsley joined RHOBH, she and Kyle Richards seemed to click. She came on the show by way of Lisa Vanderpump but that friendship ended in Season 9. That is the same season LVP left the show. Though Kyle would grow very close to Teddi Mellencamp, she and Dorit were good friends. Their families seemed to get along quite well as did their husbands. They seemed to lean on each other even more around the time Season 13 was coming out as they were both struggling in their marriages. However, Kyle stopped drinking and started working out a lot plus she became extremely close to country singer, Morgan Wade.
So much so that there were rumors they were dating. Kyle tattooed her initial on Morgan and it appeared Dorit was jealous. She even made comments about having to do something like that and by the time the season ended, they had not spoken. Now, Season 14 is well underway and the hope would be that the two ladies would have mended fences. Kyle is separated from her husband, Mauricio Umansky while Dorit is in the same position with Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley. Sadly, it is not working out that way as Kyle says their friendship is in an “unfortunate” place. According to Us Weekly, Kyle Richards gave a friendship update:
“The dynamics have shifted tremendously this year.”
Now, the fifty-five-year-old actress explained that it is mostly having to do with Dorit and Sutton Stracke. With Stracke, the two had issues all season as she nagged at Kyle about her marital problems. She felt something was lingering and they never got to truly a happy place. As for Dorit, the hope was that they could lean on each other but that’s not the case:
“Unfortunately, that’s not where we’re at right now in our relationship. We’re both going through different but similar situations. So, it is unfortunate that we’re in this position.”
New Ladies
There are two newcomers to the group, Sutton Stracke’s good friend and actress, Jennifer Tilly who has had cameos. Then, there is Bozoma Saint John. They will fill in the roles of Annemarie Wiley and Crystal Kung Minkoff who were fired after last season. Per Kyle Richards, it is “interesting” with them in the mix:
“We’re just sort of starting out. Like I said, the dynamics have shifted, but they’re constantly shifting and changing. So, we’ll see where we end up.”
Plus, Kathy Hilton is back and that is a total gamechanger:
“She is off to the races. She tries to keep the light. Her main goal right now, because of what I’ve been going through, is to try to make me laugh.”
As to how things will play out with Dorit Kemsley as the season goes on is yet to be seen. Hopefully, the women can get back to a happy place as they always enjoyed each other’s company. More so, they need each other now more than ever.
