‘Live’ Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Reunite With Long-Lost Baby
While Live With Kelly And Mark hosts, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, share many aspects of their lives with the world, even they get a few surprises here and there. For this couple, they were pleasantly greeted with a reunion with their long-lost baby from decades ago.
Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Keep Fans Guessing
Undeniably, fans never know what to expect from Live With Kelly And Mark host, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Honoring National Take Your Cat To Work and National Eat Your Veggie Day, the duo brought out a furry fake cat and a variety plate of fresh veggies. Remarkably, both admit they are adamant about getting their fair share of vegetables, but Mark wasn’t game for the cat aspect since he has an allergy.
However, he attempted to celebrate the day with the mechanical, meowing cat the crew had on hand. But even the faux kitty made him start to itch. While discussing “baby carrots” Kelly explains the “mommy carrot” and the “daddy carrot” love each other very much and then you get the baby. Although cats and vegetables were entertaining openers, there was one surprise guest who took the cake!
Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Reunite With Long-Lost Baby
After Deja Vu introduced Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, there was another important guest in the audience. Both Kelly and Mark were brought together by the show All My Children. Recently, the couple celebrated twenty-eight years of marriage. While they have raised three children together, Michael, 27, Joaquin, 21, and Lola, 22, they have one other child they sadly couldn’t keep track of over the years. Together, Kelly and Mark had a child, or more accurately Hayley Vaughan and Mateo Santos, their on-screen characters had baby Enzo.
Meeting on the set of All My Children, it didn’t take long for the two to be smitten with one another. On-screen and off, they were head over heels. They were married in real life and starred as a couple on All My Children from 1995 to 2002. Hayley and Mateo had a child on the show, but in real life, they didn’t stay in touch. On Monday, June 17, the girl who played Enzo surprised Kelly and Mark by attending the Live show.
Enzo Was Full Of Surpises
However, even more shocking than seeing your baby after twenty-two years, is finding out that baby Enzo was a girl. As Kelly Ripa talks about the charming baby she held in her arms as a new mother on All My Children, she tells the audience that Enzo is with them in person. As the camera pans to a twenty-two-year-old lady in the crowd, there’s a little “Aha!” moment.
Kelly says, “Hang on a second baby Enzo,” as she leans forward with her elbows on the desk in front of her. The former actress says, “Yeah … I’m a girl, not a boy.” Kelly clarifies, “You had a twin brother, right?” She says, “I have a twin brother. At the time, he didn’t have enough hair, so I was baby Enzo for you.” She reassures them he has plenty of hair now. Additionally, the visitor shares that she is a few days younger than Kelly’s real-life daughter, Lola Consuelos. Furthermore, she shares, “I guess on the set my mom held Lola and you held me.”
Catching up a bit as they reunite, Kelly Ripa asks if she is still acting, but she says, “No,” however admitting Live might be her “Big break.” She currently lives in Long Island and has a career in sports that she started a few months ago.
