‘Bold & Beautiful’ Don Diamont Reunited With Former ‘Y&R’ Costar

There are a number of daytime television stars that have appeared on more than one soap opera. Don Diamont is one of those actors who has played numerous roles on Days Of Our Lives, The Young & The Restless, and now The Bold & The Beautiful. Because of this, he has gotten to know a number of other fan-favorite soap stars. Don Diamont’s Night Out With Peter Bergman

Don Diamont got his start on Days Of Our Lives as Carlo Forenza. Then he played Brad Carlton on The Young & The Restless for more than 24 years. During his time on the show, Diamont’s character made a number of enemies, including Jack Abbott (played by Peter Bergman).

Although the soap star has broken into a new role on The Bold & The Beautiful, he still keeps in touch with some of his former costars. While their characters didn’t get along on the small screen, Peter Bergman and Don Diamont are actually quite friendly in real life.

The two soap stars got together for Bergman’s birthday on June 11. Diamont shared a snapshot of the event on Instagram. The men were accompanied by their wives, Cindy Ambuehl and Mariellen Bergman. In front of Peter Bergman sat a confectionary treat with a candle, awaiting his birthday wish.

“We had a beautiful dinner last night [at] Giorgio Baldi Restaurant with our dear friends, the Bergmans, celebrating Peter’s birthday!” Don Diamont wrote. “Happy Birthday to my brother from another mother.” Bergman was celebrating his 71st birthday alongside his wife and close friend.

Fans Show Love For The Two Men Reuniting

Fans flocked to the comments to wish Peter Bergman a happy birthday, along with two of Bergman’s castmates. Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine on Y&R thought that the photo and the reunion were “so great!” Michelle Stafford, who plays the role of Phyllis, stated that the snapshot was “Amazing!”

One person pointed out in the comments, “Can you imagine the faces of the other guests as you all walked into the restaurant? Love watching both of you for decades!”

Not long before sharing the post about his “brother from another mother,” Don Diamont shared several photos from the Daytime Emmy Awards. The snapshots her shared showed him alongside his wife in several photos. He also posed next to some of the people he works with on The Bold & The Beautifulincluding his close friend of “40 years,” Edward Scott.

Diamont also shared his favorite part of the evening, which was getting to be in the same room as Dick Van Dyke. The 98-year-old television icon won Guest Star Emmy that night.
