The Welcome To Plathville Season 6 trailer recently dropped. With it, TLC teases a lot of drama-filled upcoming scenes. One of those storylines for the upcoming season includes Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath navigating life after the pair officially split.
This is a completely new world for both of them as they put themselves out there on the dating scene. Teasers show how awkward things are for both Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath as they put themselves back out there. However, there’s an even bigger question that Welcome To Plathville fans have when it comes to these two.
Olivia says in teasers: “Dating after marrying the first guy that you ever even held hands with is wild.”
As for Ethan, he is having similar issues navigating this new reality, adding: “It’s intimidating a little bit to approach a beautiful woman.”
TLC Divorce Status Update In 2024
With both Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath openly dating in Season 6 spoilers, many fans are curious about their current divorce status. The pair announced their split in October of 2023 after five years of marriage.
According to InTouch, Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath’s divorce was “closed administratively” on April 26. The pair have not decided to call off their divorce. So, this is more than likely due to a clerical issue. As of this writing, they have not yet refiled their divorce.
Despite this, Olivia and Ethan continue to live their lives separately. Olivia Plath appears to be living in Los Angeles, while Ethan appears to be living in Minnesota. The official reason for the divorce filing was due to an “irretrievable breakdown” of their marriage.
Welcome To Plathville Season 6 Shows Tense Scenes Ahead
Based on spoilers for Welcome To Plathville Season 6, there is a lot of drama ahead on all fronts. From the looks of it, scenes will pick up in the aftermath of Olivia and Ethan’s split, including the hardship that comes with moving on.
At one point in teasers, Ethan says that he doesn’t “understand” how Olivia seems to be able to “move on” so easily following their split. To which Olivia replies: “Who said it was easy?”
So, while their official divorce is “closed administratively,” it also looks like the door is closed on them ever getting back together.
