‘Love Is Blind’ Taylor Rue Opens Up About Devastating Loss
Love Is Blind star Taylor Rue has opened up about a devastating loss she went through recently. The reality TV personality shared the news of her miscarriage with followers on Instagram this week. What Happened To Taylor Rue After Love Is Blind?
Taylor Rue was last seen on television during Season 5 of Love Is Blind. She broke up with her fiance JP Pierce, who she met in the pods. In September 2023, she opened up about her experience on the show and where she thinks it all went wrong with JP.
The Love Is Blind star told Us Weekly that she first realized something was off during the big reveal. “I just remember we kept kissing, kept kissing, kept kissing, and I was like, ‘We need to sit down and talk,’” she recalled of her time on the Netflix series.
“And it was almost like we didn’t know what to talk about and … I had never been in a situation that was awkward, like that meeting, on a regular date and so I was super thrown off,” she continued. “I didn’t know how to go about it, but that’s what made me feel a little bit weird.”
Despite things not working out with JP, Taylor Rue says she doesn’t have any regrets about how everything turned out. At the time, she hadn’t ever lived with a man before and didn’t want to rush into things.
In October 2023, she revealed that she “found her plus one” when she and Cameron Shelton became Instagram official.
Taylor Rue Shares Heartbreaking Loss
The Love Is Blind star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a snapshot of her initial ultrasound. In the caption, Taylor Rue revealed that she’d lost her baby.
“We couldn’t wait to share the news of our pregnancy with everyone, but now we are sharing very different news,” she wrote in the caption. “I pray and feel for any family that goes through this.”

She continued, adding that she and her boyfriend Cameron Shelton were absolutely “devastated and heartbroken” by the loss. “Only time will heal the pain we feel,” Taylor wrote. “We know that God’s plan is so much greater than ours and that baby S is in heaven looking down on us.”
Several other Love Is Blind alums took to the comment section to show their support for Taylor and Cameron during this difficult time. Bliss Poureetezadi Goytowski from Season 4 wrote, “Sending you lots of love and prayers.” Amy Tiffany (Season 6) also commented, “I am so so sorry beautiful – we’re sending you both so much love and prayers.”
