Are Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Still Living Separately?
Recently, The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian, gave fans an update on her and Travis Barker’s living arrangements. Not long ago, they admitted they weren’t in any hurry to combine households. But are they still living separately?
Unconventional Living Arrangements
In October 2022, Kourtney Kardashian gave fans a peek at the living situation of her and Travis Barker. In an interview with Amanda Hirsch on the Not Skinny But Not Fat, Kourtney talks about the logistics of combining her family with Travis’ family. This was just months after the budding couple had walked down the aisle together in May 2022.
At that point, Kourtney shared, “We’re in the place where we’re figuring out how to blend our households and our kids, and what life looks like now.” She adds, “For the most part we’re getting those things in place. We do family dinner every Sunday night with all the kids at his house.” And while unconventional, that was working for them. She continues, “We want our kids to feel really comfortable. They have both lived in their homes their whole lives for the most part and just, they each have their rooms. We are a block away.” Now, Kourtney gave fans an update about where they are now, just a few years later.
Kourtney Kardashian Updates Fans On Their Housing Status
During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian addresses the living arrangement in October 2023. In the Kardashian-Jenner timeline, this was right before little Rocky Thirteen Barker was born. While on baby watch, Kourtney took her mom, Kris Jenner, on a Halloween tour of Travis Barker’s house. Although previously, Kourtney asserted they felt “no pressure” to move in together, introducing a new baby into the mix made them evaluate the situation more. Kourtney shares, “Travis and I have really been taking our time with figuring out where it makes sense for us to live together because the kids are all so comfortable in their spaces.”
Notably, the family merging has effects on many people. For instance, Kourtney Kardashian shares three older children with Scott Disick, Reign, 9, Penelope, 11, and Mason, 14. Likewise, Travis Barker also shares two kids and a stepdaughter with Shanna Moakler, Landon, 20, Alabama, 18, and stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, 24. They took their time to sort through plans but needed to make some decisions with their newest little bundle arriving just days later.
Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Hatch A Plan
As Kourtney Kardashian’s baby on board was increasingly growing, the couple had some necessary arrangements to work through. Kourtney says, “It feels like we kind of figured out a plan for now.” She tells Kris Jenner and the cameras, “We’re going to move into his house which is a block away, and then redo my house at the same time so that we can all be together, living together under one roof with the baby.” When Kourtney took Kris into the baby’s new room, Kris was surprised to see a drum set.
While it was concerning to Kris that there were drums where the baby would sleep, Kourtney let her know it was going to be ingrained in Rocky’s life. She says, “He’s going to get used to some drums.” Undeniably, with Travis being a natural rocker and the drummer for Blink-182, drums will be a big part of his life.
Most likely, the renovations to Kourtney Kardashian’s home will take some time. But the family is moving closer together in the meantime. With baby Rocky now more than seven months old, the family is probably settling in and getting used to their new little family member. Hopefully, their transitions weren’t too “rocky” with the move happening so close to the arrival of Rocky Thirteen.
