Jessica Shannon Using Pumpkin’s Husband For Future Baby?
Is Mama June’s daughter, Jessica Shannon going to use her sister, Pumpkin’s husband for her future baby? It appears that Josh Efird is a serious contender for Jessica and her girlfriend, Shyann McCant. So, why is he the top choice and what does the family have to say about this? Jessica Shannon Using Pumpkin’s Husband For Future Baby?
For nearly two years, Jessica Shannon has been dating Shyann McCant. When she shared that she had moved out of Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird’s home, it was revealed she had a roommate. As it turned out, this roommate was also her girlfriend. Her family has embraced her sexuality, even taking her to a drag club as soon as she came out. Now that the couple has been together for some time, the idea of starting a family is crossing their minds. According to ET, they have also picked out a possible sperm donor and it just so happens to be someone very close to them.
Jessica was asked flat out if her brother-in-law and Pumpkin’s husband, Josh Efird was a possibility. To that, she had this to say:
“Well, we’ll have to see about that.”
Of course, Mama June did not take too kindly to this news, mostly because it came out of nowhere. Pumpkin did not mind it much, saying: “Don’t get too deep.” Now, there is no baby as of now but Pumpkin had no problem sharing the details of Jessica and Shyann’s personal lives. She noted that Shyann is ready for a baby and really wants a ring:
“Shyann is still bugging her though every day. Shyann wants a ring too.”
It appears that Jessica Shannon’s girlfriend is more than happy to think about their future and settle down. So, what makes Josh the best candidate to make their dreams come true? Financially, it makes the most sense as Jessica noted how pricey this process is:
“I don’t think people understand how expensive it is, so you ask who you can.”
Pumpkin weighed in on it but did share that it can be a scary prospect having her husband involved:
“I don’t know. There’s a lot that ties into it more than just doing. You do 100 percent, you do ask who you can.”
Josh has not weighed in on it but he always liked Jessica a lot as well as Shyann. So, it would not be unfounded for him to do this.
Emotions Run High
On Friday, June 14th, it will be the second part of the Family Crisis season. This has been incredibly emotional for the whole family as they lost Anna Cardwell in December 2023. In the first part of the season, she married Eldridge Toney while battling stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Her family wanted her to start thinking about accommodations for her two daughters, Kylee and Kaitlyn but she refused. Now, in this part, her health will continue to deteriorate so everyone will continue to gather together to be there as best as they can. There will be a lot of personal and emotional battles that fans will definitely want to see through.
