According to the UPtv synopsis, Julia Castle is a best-selling medieval romance novelist. When she gave a book reading of her latest romance, she encountered a romance critic. It turns out he is Prince Maximillian “Max” Lucien Adalwolf. His sister, Princess Nora Adalwolf is a huge fan of Julia’s novels and needs her help.
Max is on a deadline. It turns out that Max will be turning 40 soon. However, because he is still single, he will lose the throne. That is because he has to be married by the age of 40. Princess Nora reveals to Julia that Max has tried all the traditional ways to find the right woman, but he is not finding the romance he needs to make a commitment.
Now, Julia is determined to make him a match. The novelist is officially a matchmaker. The two of them hang out as she coaches him on how to act with women. She encourages him to be chivalrous, but he often is more concerned about his Italian shoes than he is about doing romantic gestures.
Max helps her with her next book. His idea of romance and courtship inspires Julia to think of mixing things up for her next novel. But first, she must find Max the perfect woman.
