‘Bachelor’ Host Jesse Palmer Shares Plans For First Father’s Day

Jesse Palmer’s Daughter Already Jet-Setter
Jesse Palmer and his wife, Emely Fardo, welcomed their first child together in January. The couple married in 2020 after three years of dating. Their daughter almost made the Bachelor Nation host miss the Golden Wedding.
Emely gave birth on January 10, just six days after the ill-fated nuptials. According to her dad, Ella Reine is already a world traveler. He spoke to PEOPLE magazine about fatherhood ahead of his first Father’s Day.
He revealed that filming for Season 21 of The Bachelorette was a family affair, with his wife and daughter joining him when filming overseas. Jenn Tran’s season just finished filming and premieres on ABC on Monday, July 8.
Hands-On Dad
Due to his crazy filming schedule, Jesse Palmer tries to be a present, hands-on dad as much as possible. He told the outlet that he changes as many diapers as he can when he’s at home.
“The basic rule of thumb for me is just try to do as much as I possibly can…I try to wash as many and clean as many bottles as I can, swaddle as often as I can, soothe as often as I can when she’s down napping.”
“Emely and I have found our rhythm,” he said about about the first-time parents.

He couldn’t stop gushing over his daughter, sharing that he spends a lot more time thinking about her than he realized he would.
“I always expected it’s your daughter, you’re going to think about her a lot. But I catch myself all the time daydreaming, thinking about Ella when I’m at work, when I’m traveling.”
Bachelor Host Jesse Palmer Shares Plans For First Father’s Day
Baby Ella will add another travel hot spot to her travel log. The Bachelor Nation host shared with PEOPLE that his family of three is planning to visit New York City for Father’s Day.
The Big Apple has a special place in his heart. He told the outlet that he lived there for over two decades when he played football with the New York Giants. He played for the team from 2001 until 2005.
He was the Season 5 Bachelor in 2004 and went on to become a sports analyst before returning to the franchise as host in 2021.
“It’s going to be great [to be there] together as a family,” he said about spending his first Father’s Day in New York.
