Michael Strahan Takes Off From ‘GMA’ For Sick Daughter, Isabella
Michael Strahan is taking some more time off from Good Morning America to spend more time with his daughter. Isabelle Strahanm continues to battle her brain cancer diagnosis and is still undergoing chemotherapy. She said earlier that she should be finished this month, so her dad is with her every step of the way.

Michael Strahan Taking Time Off From GMA To Be Wih Daughter
Michael Strahan has been taking more time away from Good Morning Ameirca as he continues to put his family first. He didn’t appear on the show after last Tuesday’s episode and is spending time with his daughter.
Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella was ready to start college this last fall along with her twin sister. However, while her sister Sophia went to Duke University in North Carolina, Isabella got her tragic news. Isabella was planning to start college at USC in California until she learned she had brain cancer.
Isabella, 19, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma and has been undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments. She had to have two invasive surgeries where doctors had to drill into the back of her head to release fluid buildup in her brain.
Things have been tough recently, as Isabella said that the medicine she is on to help with the chemo is causing her to have memory loss. She would go for an entire day without remembering anything that happened. She also was unconscious on her 19th birthday, although her sister and dad helped her celebrate it later.
Her dad has been with her every step of the way.
Michael Strahan Putting Family First
There is great news. With Michael Strahan with his daughter and by her side, Isabella has finished her final round of chemotherapy. She celebrated the moment by dancing with her twin sister, Sophia, in a TikTok video. SHe captioned it, “I did it.”

Isabella wore a golden crown and danced to the Bryson Tiller song “Let Em’ Know.” She was all smiles during the dance, and it was clear that she was ready to try to get back to living life once again. As expected, with the chemo finally ending, Michael Strahan didn’t want to be anywhere but with his daughter during this time.
Isabella has tried to remain brave and documented her entire journey through this hard time on YouTube. She has been there to document the good and the bad and has been completely open with all her fans who tuned in to watch her battle.
“I can kind of try and have a summer to feel better,” she said about the end of the treatments.
