Millions of viewers tuned in to the Season 20 Bachelorette finale to find out who Charity Lawson would give her final rose to. She chose Dotun Olubeko over Joey Graziadei. But don’t feel bad for Joey. He went on to be the Season 28 Bachelor and is currently engaged to Kelsey Anderson.
Jesse Palmer had a few surprises in store for Charity Lawson at the After The Final Rose special last August. He let her fiance spill the news that she would be a contestant on Season 32 of Dancing With The Stars. She came in fourth place.
The second surprise was a paid trip to Greece on the network’s dime. But due to her rigorous DWTS schedule and nationwide live tour that followed, the couple had to postpone the trip. They finally made good on the trip overseas at the end of May. Charity shared gorgeous photos from the Greek island Santorini, including the one above.
Bachelor Nation Takes Over CMA Fest
Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko returned to the States just in time to attend the annual CMA Fest in Nashville. While the festival is a celebration of country music, it attracts celebrities from all genres. It’s a hotspot for reality show stars, and Bachelor Nation is no exception.
Some of the Bachelor Nation alums attending this year are Joey, Kelsey, Kaity Biggar, and Kaitlyn Bristowe, just to name a few. The official Bachelorette Instagram shared a photo of Dotun and Charity at the CMA fest, calling it a “beautiful thing.”

Dotun Olubeko Shares What He’s Learned About Charity Lawson
In addition to photo ops with fans, Dotun and Charity were part of the Bachelorette panel. He was asked what he’s learned about his fiance since they got engaged almost a year ago. Dotun revealed that the coolest thing he’s learned about Charity is her connection to her family.
He called her a product of her parents and meant it in a good way. Charity’s final rose winner said that more things made sense about her after he met Charity’s family.
Dotun added that his fiance is a spitting image of her family members, though he didn’t mean literally. He meant personality-wise. Watch the full clip below of his wholesome response to the question.
The Bachelorette couple are just beginning to plan their wedding, which they previously revealed will take place in 2025.
