‘The Wedding Rule’ Is Part Of UPtv’s June Grooms Programming
UPtv’s annual June Grooms programming continues with The Wedding Rule. This wedding-themed romcom stars Julie Nolke and Dennis Andres. This is a movie with a surprising twist. What happens when an inheritance requires marriage? Can someone be a matchmaker through the wishes in their will?

What Is The Wedding Rule About?
UPtv’s The Wedding Rule promises to unite two people because of an unusual twist. “Former childhood friends are bequeathed a restaurant on one condition: they must be married to claim the inheritance.” Now the race is on to find “the one.”
Here is what this new movie is all about. According to the synopsis, when Gemma and Max worked at Rosa’s Restaurant, they were in high school. They worked closely together and were great friends. However, they never dated. After high school, they lost touch with each other and with Rosa. But, they both had culinary dreams. But, life got in the way.
Gemma spent her time dreaming of creating incredible desserts, while Max lost his love of cooking because it stopped being about the food, just the big show. Sadly, the two wind up meeting again, but for sad reasons. Rosa has died and she has named them both in her will. But, the stipulation is that they must be married to inherit the restaurant. They don’t need to be married to each other. They just need to be married. The big challenge is that they need to get hitched in three weeks. Unfortunately, neither really has a prospect, so they start working fast. If they don’t do it, the restaurant will be torn down by a relative who wants to turn the place into a condo.
Soon, they both go on dates. Sadly, neither has had much luck with someone. But, they seem to have a lot of fun together. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that the other is perfect. That is until Max reunites with a woman who is happy to reunite with him. Now, Gemma realizes that Max is the guy she has always wanted. Is it too late to make this happen?
