WCTH fans around the world want to know the latest news on Mamie Laverock. Her mother Nicole Rockmann, father John Laverock, and stepfather Rob Compton have updated her GoFundMe with the update that Hearties have been waiting for.

She has undergone two 11-hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three-hour surgery, and another surgery today. We have nothing but gratitude for the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in her care since May 26.

However, this is a long recovery. Therefore, they are counting each and every blessing as they point out that she is “doing well comparatively to when she arrived.” Moreover, she has been “doing well because she has survived these extensive surgeries.”

WCTH Star Suffered ‘Medical Emergency’ In Winnipeg

This has been a difficult month for the WCTH star. This all began on May 11. While in Winnipeg, Mamie Laverock experienced a “medical emergency.” This prompted the GoFundMe to be created. That was because her mother Nicole needed funds to get her to Winnipeg, and then bring Mamie back to Vancouver to be hospitalized. There was no explanation for this emergency, but Hearties had shared this link to help this young actress.

The only information on her initial hospitalization was that she would need “upwards of a month or more” to recover. However, she was “showing signs of improvement.”

Things took a horrific turn two weeks later. That is when on May 26, Mamie was taken away from a secure area of the Vancouver-area hospital and across a balcony walkway, where she fell five stores. From this, she suffered many broken bones and was put on life support.

Most of all, Nicole told the Los Angeles Times that the blame was fully on the hospital. She stated that this fall was not “intended.”

Hallmark Media had shared a statement on Mamie. ” We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our When Calls The Heart community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort, and many prayers during this difficult time.”
