‘WCTH’: Does Chris McNally Think Lucas Bouchard Is Bad?
Many fans of WCTH have an opinion on Chris McNally’s character Lucas Bouchard. Some Hearties objected to him because he owned a saloon. However, their opinion of the Coulters didn’t seem to diminish when they took it over. Then, there was the love triangle. Some say that Lucas is a bad guy. Yet, this accusation has been thrown without any sort of evidence.
Therefore, does Chris McNally think Lucas is bad? His answer may surprise Hearties.

Does WCTH Star Chris McNally Think Locus Bouchard is Bad?
Now that WCTH star Chris McNally is getting ready to play Lucas Bouchard for a seventh season, he seems to be growing and evolving his character. In his recent interview with Daily Planet, he revealed that he hopes that in Season 12, Lucas will still be in politics. “It’s a new world for Lucas, one where he has much to learn, and one that I think has many roads worth exploring.”
But one thing for sure is that he doesn’t see Lucas as “bad.” Instead, he revealed that “Lucas is a kind, intelligent and ethical man. In my mind, if there were morally ambiguous choices made in his past, these choices were always for purposes great than himself.”
Then, Chris added, “I find Lucas lives in a world consisting of shades of gray, not black and white, and personally I enjoy playing characters that live in the grey. I find it much more human and much more interesting.”
When Calls The Heart Season 12 Starts Filming Soon
Just recently, Hallmark renewed WCTH for Season 12. Moreover, they will start production in July. That means that they are currently developing new stories. But, Season 11 is still finishing up, and fans don’t know how the season ended.
However, Chris McNally already has some things he would like to do next season. He shared that he would like to explore Lucas’ relationship with his father. We’ve met his mom. Hearties may gain more insights into this intriguing and often misunderstood character if they understood his relationship with his father. Also, he wants fans to know where Lucas lives and sleeps. That has been a mystery.
Next, he would like to “see more of Lucas’s French in season 12.” When Chris arrived at the Hallmark series at the beginning of Season 6, the showrunner at the time, Alfonso H. Moreno, had him speak French. But, he has not spoken the language in the series again. Perhaps there will be a reason for him to do so next season.
