After weeks of speculation, ABC announced Jenn Tran as the next Bachelorette. The announcement came during the After the Final Rose special for Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor. The announcement took many fans by surprise. Maria Georgas or Daisy Kent was the name viewers were expecting. However, both ladies turned it down and the role went to Jenn Tran, a 26-year-old medical student.
She made history in the franchise by becoming the first Asian-American Bachelorette. She opened up earlier this month about how proud she is of her heritage.

Jenn Tran Stuns In Return From Filming
Fans of the franchise may be surprised at how quickly the show films. Jenn Tran left shortly after Joey Graziadei’s season finale on March 28 to start filming for The Bachelorette. She returned home less than two months later.
Jenn Tran made her return to social media earlier this week with a set of stunning photographs. She attended a party celebrating AAPI Heritage Month. She wrote a billowing low-cut black dress with splashes of color on it, including orange, red, and hints of purple.
“Proof of life!!!!!!!! Past couple of months have been crazy but I’m back, I’m grateful, and it’s only just the beginning. Also just in time for a proper celebration of AAPI month,” Jenn captioned the post.
