Jenn Tran Slammed For Look Alike ‘Bachelorette’ Promo Video
Jenn Tran is getting slammed by fans for making The Bachelorette promo video look like another dating show. She was announced to be the next Bachelorette during the last episode of The Bachelor. Jenn was on Joey Graziadei’s season but did not win his heart. Fans were hoping to see Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas as the main character. However, they turned down the opportunity and Jenn was next in line.
Jenn Tran To Be The First Asian Bachelorette
Jenn Tran is excited to be the first Asian Bachelorette. This is an opportunity she has wanted and cannot wait to meet the love of her life on the show.
“It’s honestly incredible and I feel so, so grateful and so honored to be the first Asian Bachelorette in this franchise, growing up, I’ve always wanted to see Asian representation on TV. I feel like it was really sparse. Anytime Asians were in the media, it was to fill a supporting character role, to fulfill some sort of stereotype. I always felt boxed in by that because I was like, I don’t see myself on screen. I don’t see myself as a main character.”
Jenn has even received a new mansion for her season of the show. Fans still do not know why they are not filming in the famous mansion. However, this has allowed Jenn to be a first for many things on the show.
Fans Slam Jenn For Promo Video
Fans are slamming Jenn Tran for making her promo video look like a Love Island video.
- “When Bachelorette hires the Love Island producers/editors! I’m here for it,”
- “Why did they make this look so much like love island,”
- “This looks wayyy too much like Love Island I was honestly confused for a second,”
- “They need to stop trying to emulate love island…they’re never gonna be love island lmao,”
The promo was filled with bright colors that looked like she was filming for a show on a tropical island. However, the video was great and made fans excited for the new season.
It seems that fans think that Jenn made the video look like Love Island. They were not wrong as it does look fairly similar. Producers usually take on a mature sophisticated look for the show. However, it seems this season they wanted to try something more youthful. Viewers are excited to see how Jenn does as The Bachelorette and cannot wait to meet the men on her season.
