Joey Graziadei’s stint as The Bachelor was actually his second shot at finding love on reality TV. He was a contestant on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. At one point, she confessed her feelings for him but chose Dotun Olubeko at the end of the season. Charity and Dotun are currently engaged and prepping for a wedding next year.
A heartbroken Joey Graziadei gave love another chance on Season 28 of The Bachelor. Early spoilers indicated that he chose Daisy Kent, so some fans were blindsided when he actually proposed to Kelsey Anderson. The two have been enjoying their time as a newly engaged couple, but fans wonder if their relationship will last long enough for marriage.
Why Bachelor Fans Don’t Think He Will Marry Kelsey Anderson
After years of broken relationships that seemed solid on TV, Bachelor Nation fans are cautious about rooting for couples to stay together. This year has been particularly difficult after the breakups of Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, as well as Bachelorette couple Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo.
Things seem to be going well for Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei as they attend music festivals and weddings together.
However, one Bachelor Nation fan was curious what others thought about the chances of the couple actually getting married. They posted on Reddit asking, “Will Joey and Kelsey actually make it to the aisle?”
A lot of cynical Bachelor fans doubt that Joey Graziadei will actually marry Kelsey. Check out some of the comments:
- If they don’t have a wedding date by the end of the year then no I don’t think they will!
- IMO, no. But I think they’ll date successfully for a few years (maybe 2?) before they go separate ways with no animosity
- I think they are having a lot of fun right now but my gut tells me no. And I think it will end on Kelsey’s side not Joeys.
- They seem solid right now. They’re very cute together and I love them, but no. Kelsey has shown some insecurities since filming ended and I also feel like Joey is way more into her than she is into him.
- I don’t think so. They’re cute together but it seems like he didn’t find out her true personality until after the show and maybe it doesn’t mesh. He mentioned that he didn’t know she was so silly until after the show. Now she has him making all these comedy tiktoks lol which I don’t think fits his persona. That’s just one example.
Some Fans Still Have Hope
Joey and Kelsey had their share of supporters. One fan wrote, “I think they could especially if they have a long engagement. it doesn’t seem like either of them is rushing to plan a wedding which is probably good for them.”
The Bachelor couple spoke about having a long engagement before getting married and having kids.
Another fan was on the fence, writing, “Only couple I see making it right now that are engaged are Noah and abigail and Zach and Kaity. It is also way too soon to call with Joey and Kelsey.”
