Savannah Chrisley Reveals How She Is Dealing With ‘Trauma’
Savannah Chrisley spoke out this week on her podcast Unlocked about how she and her siblings have been through therapy. Daily Mail shared what she had to say about it all. This comes from the trauma they have all faced. Savannah is currently the legal guardian of her two younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe. Keep reading to find out more about why they are in therapy.
Savannah Chrisley Gets Guardianship
Savannah Chrisley gained guardianship of her two younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe. This occurred when their parents were sent to federal prison for tax fraud. Savannah has been fighting ever since to get her parents out of prison. Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to a combined 17 years in prison. Julie has spoken out about the hard times she has faced during her sentence. Some are about her missing out on Grayson’s senior year, missing out on her anniversary, and many birthdays. There has been a lot that the family has had to go through, but Savannah keeps being tough for the entire family.
All Of Them Are In Therapy
Savannah revealed that she and her two younger siblings are currently in therapy.
“Both kids are in therapy every week, unfortunately, they have to grow up a lot faster,”
She also discussed her therapy experience.
“I think for me, the whole reason I was going was to help me deal with trauma, like, in my life from childhood to now, there are so many different types of trauma.”
Fans feel bad for the children as none of it was their fault. Savannah is trying to help Grayson navigate through going to college and grow up without the help of their parents. She has continued to show strength in the battle. Grayson has also made sure to let Savannah know that she is doing a good job. The three of them continue to go to therapy and work through their issues together while their parents are in federal prison.
It seems that Savannah’s trauma goes back further than Grayson and Chloe’s. She is still dealing with the trauma that she faced as a child. Savannah had admitted before that she had tried to commit suicide when she was a teenager. Grayson and Chloe are in therapy due to their parents going to federal prison.
