Before his reality TV fame, Gerry Turner lived in his dream house on a beautiful lake in Indiana. The retired restaurateur, who previously owned a Mr. Quick hamburger franchise in Iowa, is often busy hosting barbecues, playing pickleball, and cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams.
But he also still makes appearances for the popular Bachelor Nation franchise. He was among the alums taping an episode of the popular game show Family Feud in early April. At the time, he was keeping a shocking secret from the world: He was on the brink of divorcing Theresa Nist after three months of marriage.
After marrying Theresa in a televised ceremony in January, the couple announced their decision to divorce just three months later. Despite the sudden split, Gerry remains optimistic and open to new experiences, as evidenced by his latest reality TV venture.
Gerry Turner Makes Debut On Another Reality Show
Gerry Turner, the charming 71-year-old patriarch from Indiana who captured hearts as ABC’s first Golden Bachelor, is ready for his next adventure in the world of reality TV. According to Life & Style, he makes an appearance on the The Kardashians. The outlet notes that Kendall Jenner and mom, Kris Jenner, are huge fans of the Bachelor franchise.
Season 5 of The Kardashians kicked off on Thursday, May 23. On the Season 5 premiere episode, the matriarch finally convinced Kendall and Kim Kardashian to watch the Golden Bachelor with her back in September 2023. Kim was jetting off to another location, but vowed to watch it on the plane. Kendall Jenner revealed that she’d been watching The Bachelor with her mom for years.

The preview for the next episode teased an appearance by the Golden Bachelor himself, Gerry Turner. He greeted big fans Kris and Kendall Jenner with a hug. He previously teased on social media in October 2023 that he met Kris Jenner. One of his contestants, Susan Noles, drew major comparisons to the Kardashian matriarch.
Fans will have to tune in to the episode airing May 30 to see which celebrity is more starstruck – the Kardashian family or Gerry Turner.

I felt from day one that Gerry was quite full of himself. Now for sure I feel he is exactly what I thought about him from the beginning and then some.
Now he is going to be on other realty shows. HE IS WAY BEYOND BEING FULL OF HIMSELF. I DISLIKE HIM PROFUSELY 😒

I’m sick n tired of seeing him. he is so self centered. he doesn’t care that he broke two ladies hearts. if I see his face on a TV show I turn the channel n hope everyone else will do the same .don’t let him make money after throwing away something as sacred as giving an oath to God to love n cherish until death do we part…all lies on his part ..
