Lisa Vanderpump Reveals True Fate Of Show Amid Filming Pause
Lisa Vanderpump is revealing the true fate of her hit Bravo reality series, Vanderpump Rules after a lackluster Season 11. The show is now on an indefinite hiatus and some are wondering if it is actually coming back. So, what does LVP have to say regarding the show’s return and if it will even be back? Keep reading for all of the details.
Lisa Vanderpump Reveals True Fate Of Show Amid Filming Pause
Vanderpump Rules was a spinoff of RHOBH which is where Lisa Vanderpump started her Bravo career. She had her highly successful restaurants, Villa Blanca and SUR in West Hollywood where she would dine with co-stars. Scheana Shay would pop up as she had an affair with LVP’s BH co-star, Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. Seeing the dynamics between the servers and how their personal lives intertwined with work, it was clear this would be the perfect spinoff. Bravo picked it up and officially showcased the cast in the RHOBH Season 4 premiere and Vanderpump Rules took off like wildfire.
Now, in Season 11, so much has happened and viewers feel like the cast are friends, family, and enemies. The show has been picked up for Season 12 but filming has been halted indefinitely. This makes some wonder if the show is actually coming back or if it will just fade off into oblivion. According to The Sun, Lisa Vanderpump was very clear about the fate of the series.
She noted that the show has been up for cancelation for several years now but has always returned:
“Well, they say that every year for the last three years. So take a breath, we will be back. I just work very hard at everything I do.”
LVP went on to speak about the longevity of VPR, discussing that it all has to do with genuine relationships and scenarios:
“Vanderpump Rules has been going for many years and is as authentic as it could be, I mean it’s unbelievable that show.”
So, in LVP’s eyes, the show will be coming back, full throttle. Despite the indefinite pause, she has no doubts as the show has consistently dodged the cancellation bullet.
The Cast In Question
With the show on hiatus, the Vanderpump Rules cast does not seem as confident as Lisa Vanderpump. Tom Schwartz and show alum Jax Taylor have launched a bar tour. They are bummed about the filming halt and lack of BravoCon so they are trying to make the most of what they have. Additionally, the cast removed the show name from their social media accounts with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay attempting to move over to The Valley. So, the show may go on but will everyone come with it?
