According to the 90 Day Fiance star, the taco pasta incident played a significant role in why he lost hope for Liz. He said that seeing his fiance freak out about his recipe made him realize many things.

One of them was his mother’s warning about marrying her. “And what kept reiterating in my head was something my mom had said to me, go ahead and marry her, but you’ll be miserable for the rest of your life,” the 59-year-old said. Liz Woods explained in her confessional that she was upset about how Big Ed told her daughter to stop acting like a baby when she didn’t want to eat his taco pasta because it was too spicy. “I don’t appreciate that, and I called him out on it,” she said before adding that Big Ed began to attack her back and her family.
