Jana’s first post after a two-year break was a beautiful clip of flowers at the Duggar compound. The video also shows a shed, which is believed to be her current home. It was reported that the Counting On alum left her parents’ house to get her personal space. However, sources claim that she’s still looking after many of her siblings today, and it seems many fans want to credit her instead of Michelle for Mother’s Day.
Why Did Jana’s Mother’s Day Post Backfired?
Jana recently took to Instagram to share a photo with her mother, Michelle, as they celebrated Mother’s Day. The Counting On alums were all smiles, and a lot of their followers were glad to see them again. However, Jana’s post received several harsh comments, such as those who didn’t want to wish Michelle a happy Mother’s Day because they believed she never took care of the kids.
But others defended the mother of 19 and said that letting the older kids take care of their young siblings has been a long-time tradition in the family. Here are some of the comments Jana Duggar’s post received.

Creating IG accounts and becoming active online have been notorious in the Duggar family as a sign that someone is about to enter a relationship. It was reported that the Counting On alum was once linked to a pilot named Stephen Wissmann. Photos of the two looking so close together surfaced online, including one where Jana celebrated Christmas with the Wissmann family.
