New Kid On The Block Star Joins ‘Chicago Fire’ Episode

New Kid On The Block To Guest Star On Chicago Fire
Fans of the boyband New Kids on the Block are excited about one of their favorite members making a guest appearance on Chicago Fire.
Joey McIntyre went to social media to share the exciting surprise. He announced that he will be on this week’s episode of the hit NBC show. Not only will Joey be appearing, but he will also be playing the role of firefighter Lorenzo from a rival fire department.
People also shared details about Joey’s debut in Season 12. The news outlet shared that Joey, 51, will be showing a fun, competitive spirit with Tony (Tony Ferraris) and Capp (Randy Flagler) when they try to break a firetruck “fastest rescue squad pull” record.
On Joey’s Instagram post, he shared multiple photos and said, “Surprise! Had a blast repping a rival firehouse with these good people on @NBCOneChicago fans: tune in to see me in the role of “Lorenzo” on #ChicagoFire this Wednesday at 9/8c on @NBC!”
Fellow band member and actor on Blue Bloods Donnie Wahlberg commented on Joey’s post saying, “let’s go! 🔥”
Not many details about the episode have been shared in regard to how else Joey will participate.
Other Exciting Things Happening For Joey
Aside from his guest appearance on Chicago Fire, Joey McIntyre also has other exciting things coming up. He and the rest of the New Kids on the Block members will appear on the finale of American Idol on May 19. They will be performing.
Along with their performance, New Kids on the Block is releasing their first album in eleven years. The album titled Still Kids will drop on May 17.
Joey has said previously that it is amazing that after nearly 40 years together as a band they can still make an album that has “energy and passion and lightness and fun and depth.”
