‘Bachelorette’ Ryan Sutter Missing Trista Terribly On Special Day
Trista and Ryan Sutter are the gold standard of The Bachelor franchise. They met and fell in love in 2003 when she was the first-ever Bachelorette. They married later that year in a wedding televised on ABC. They’ve had their share of ups and downs, but their love is stronger than ever. The Colorado firefighter opened up about missing his wife on a very special day. Why is she away from her family during such a special time?

Trista Rehn was the runner-up on Alex Michel’s season of The Bachelor. She may not have won his heart, but she won over viewers. Her popularity led to her being named the first Bachelorette.
Ryan Sutter was among her contestants. Their bond formed quickly and has thus far been unbreakable. As other Bachelor Nation relationships end in divorce or a breakup, Trista and Ryan Sutter only grow stronger.
They live in Colorado with their two teenage children, daughter Blakesley, 14, and son Maxwell, 15. The couple are beloved by fans, but that doesn’t mean their marriage has been smooth sailing for the last twenty years. Ryan Sutter has candidly discussed his battle with Lyme disease and the toll it took on his family.
Ryan Sutter Missing Trista Terribly On Special Day
The Bachelorette Season 1 winner has always been vulnerable about his feelings, something both fans and his wife love about him. So, it’s no surprise that he took to his Instagram to share a mushy post to honor Trista on Mother’s Day.
However, she wasn’t home to celebrate with her kids and husband. Ryan didn’t reveal where she was, but he shared a sweet post in her absence. “They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I can think of only a handful of days I have not, at minimum, spoken to this incredible woman,” Ryan wrote on Instagram.
The caption continued, “She is the love of my life and my best friend. I cannot imagine loving her any more or any more fondly. But I guess we’re gonna find out….”
“I miss her already,” he added.

Some followers speculated in the comments that Trista Sutter is away filming a new reality show, though Ryan didn’t confirm the rumors. Fans will have to wait to find out, just like he will have to wait to reunite with his beautiful wife.
