Haley Pullos Gets Sentenced To Jail

General Hospital fans basically watched actress Haley Pullos grow up before their very eyes. She joined the show in 2009 at the age of 11 as legacy character Molly Lansing-Davis in 2009. Molly and her sister Kristina were fan favorites.

Soap fans were shocked in 2023 when it was reported that Haley Pullos, 25, was arrested for driving under the influence. In fact, she faced two felony counts related to the DUI and one misdemeanor for hit and run.

Police reportedly found edibles and mini bottles of tequila in her vehicle. According to TVLine, one felony count was for having a 0.08 BAC (or higher.)

The actress took a voluntary leave of absence from the daytime sudser, but her departure became permanent. The show struggled to recast the role.

Haley Pullos initially pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, almost exactly one year from the date of the 2023 accident, she took a plea deal.

According to the Daily Mail, Haley Pullos “changed her plea to no contest on one DUI and in exchange, the DA dropped the other one plus the hit and run.”

The plea deal came with a sentence of 90 days in jail and five years of probation. She will also have to pay $8,000 in restitution to the victim.

General Hospital Fans React To Sentence

News of the sentence made headlines after a year of the outcome being in question. Many General Hospital fans agree that the sentence was too light for the severity of the incident. Check out some of the comments on TMZ’s tweet:

  • She got off so easy
  • 90 days seems kinda light for a DUI, tbh.
  • Yet her TV Mom is defending her. Nancy is defending Haley’s drunk driving and if you don’t then you have no heart. 21 yrs of grief for me, a hell I wish on no one!!!!
  • She got what she deserved. I don’t feel sorry for her at all.
  • And she’ll probably do what 2 weeks?

One soap fan summed up the consensus with three words: “Not enough time.”

It remains to be seen if the DUI and subsequent jail time affect Haley’s acting career.

Do you think the sentence was too light or does she deserve a second chance at such a young age? Sound off in the comments.

  1. If that is the only prison time she has to face I think it is way too little, especially since it’s not the first time for her driving under the influence. The hit and run should warrant more time all by itself. I’m concerned she will kill someone some day😬🥺…but I certainly pray this doesn’t happen! I pray she has truly learned her lesson and that she gets help with whatever her demons are.

  2. plead deal.ok but why 90 dYs, not right, 2nd offense, will it do any good, people with 7 dui loose their license and still drive, hope 5 yrs on probation is very strict..Sad

  3. I think they should probably look at her maybe she’ll learn! You cannot be an actress and think you get away with everything!

  4. I was not aware of this incident. Some individuals suggest that this is the second offense, and if that is accurate, the proposed sentence appears appropriate. She is young and has made mistakes. I personally experienced a DUI in my twenties and spent twenty-four hours in the tents in Arizona during the summer. It was a transformative experience that taught me a valuable lesson. It is evident that she is facing personal challenges and could benefit from counseling to address the underlying issues.

    1. yes, thank you. It seems there are hateful people. she is you, and who of us hasn’t made huge mistakes. Forgivng is more apt. I hope she realizes therapy can help.
