‘Yellowstone’ Ian Bohen Promises Series Finale Is ‘Worth The Wait’
Yellowstone fans have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for the series finale. However, Ian Bohen has opened up about what viewers can expect from the show’s fifth and final season. Evidently, the long wait will be worth it, according to Bohen. Continue reading to see what he revealed about the upcoming finale.
Ian Bohen Says Yellowstone Finale Will Be Best In History
Bohen spoke with Entertainment Tonight before the Yellowstone pop-up at Stagecoach. The actor, who plays the role of Ryan in the show, told ET that “fans are going to get the [best] conclusion that could possibly be written.”
“Everything will land in a way that is perfectly set. A lot of shows just kind of finish… and they don’t satisfy you. This will be completed in a way that it will make sense,” the 47-year-old actor said.
Although there have been a number of Yellowstone spinoffs, the actor said that he doesn’t believe any other show has ever had as strong a finale as this one.
“We’re expecting to have the best series finale in history. Overconfident maybe, but I think that’s what it’s going to be. We thank everyone for their patience… It’ll be worth the wait, I promise,” Ian Bohen claimed.
The Yellowstone star also opened up about being part of a project that has such a dedicated fan base. He said attending events like Stagecoach allows him to experience the impact that the show has on its viewers.
“It touches people in a way that is different than just something that they’re fans of,” he said. “It’s a cultural phenomenon… It makes you feel like the work that you’re doing is more important than you ever thought it would be.”
Other actors who are attending the Stagecoach music festival include fellow Yellowstone stars Luke Grimes, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, and Jen Landon. Ian Bohen said that it was exciting to experience the show’s impact alongside his co-stars.
End Of The Series, But Not The Franchise
Part 2 of Yellowstone Season 5 will air in November. It was delayed several times due to strikes happening in Hollywood, but they are slated to start filming soon.
Even though this is the series finale, the president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy has said it won’t be the end of the franchise. Fans can expect to see many more shows centered around Yellowstone characters.
“Within five years, we grew Yellowstone from a hit U.S. cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans around the world and multiple extensions — and we’re just getting started,” McCarthy said.
Yellowstone is currently available to stream on Peacock.
