In an Instagram post, Jill shared the sad news about her stillborn baby girl. According to the former Counting On star, they named her Isla Marie Dillard. The baby was already four months old in Jill’s womb when they learned that she had died. Jill added that her three boys have been excited to introduce their little sister to the world. “We appreciate your prayers as we continue to grieve and heal from the loss of our little Isla Marie,” she added.

The Duggar Family Shows Support For Jill

Many people prayed and showed support for Jill and Derick Dillard. Even the members of the Duggar family paid tribute and set aside Jill’s estrangement. Amy Duggar King also said that Isla Marie was such a beautiful name, and she told Jill and Derick to pray continuously. “You’ve been on my mind and in our prayers and will continue to be. This wasn’t the first time Jill Duggar Dillard suffered a loss. In 2021, the Counting On alum revealed that they had a miscarriage. It was too early for them to know the gender of the baby, but they decided to name the child River Bliss Dillard. She even shared footage from her brief pregnancy, showing how excited she is to have another child. However, things later turned emotional as the married couple shared their last moments with River.
