Chmerkovskiy Brothers Reunite With Former ‘DWTS’ Contestant
The Chmerkovskiy brothers have been incredibly busy lately, but they always have time to support their friends from Dancing With The Stars.
Recently, Maks and Val attended a movie premiere to support one former participant. Who was it and what exactly did the brothers think about the film? Keep reading to get the scoop.
The Chmerkovskiy Brothers Show Up For Their Friends
Over the past year, both Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy welcomed home new babies. Val went on to win DWTS Season 32 with his partner Xochitl Gomez, while Maks landed a role as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. And now, Maks and his wife Peta Murgatroyd are expecting a third son this summer.
While life has been keeping the Chmerkovskiy brothers busy, they’re still happy to visit and support their friends.
Heavy reports that Full House actress and DWTS Season 18 contestant Candace Cameron Bure excitedly hosted a screening of her upcoming film, Unsung Hero.
“Everything was beautiful at the special screening of #UnsungHeroMovie hosted by @candacecbure ✨, watch it in theaters beginning April 26th!” the film’s official Instagram account shared. The first photo was of Maks Chmerkovskiy holding the actress in a dip — both beaming from ear to ear.

In their Instagram stories, both Chmerkovskiy brothers gushed about film and expressed how happy they were to support Candace.
Val wrote, “Proud of my friend the brilliant and equally kind @candacecbure producing and starring in a beautiful piece of important art,” and “I don’t usually cry. I had to shed a tear for this one. Beautiful story. Beautiful family.”
Meanwhile, Maks added, “EXCELLENT movie!!!! I didn’t expect to have the reaction I had and was there mainly to support my friend @candacecbure but the movie is EXCELLENT!!!”
Maks also said he couldn’t wait for his wife Peta Murgatroyd to see the film too.
The Brothers Got To Know The Actress Very Well On DWTS
Fans are excited to see that the Chmerkovskiys keep in touch with their favorite former DWTS contestants. But Candace Cameron Bure wasn’t partnered with either brother during her time on the show.
The actress actually partnered with former pro Mark Ballas back in Season 18, but it seems that she kept in touch with the Chmerkovskiy family. She and Mark Ballas finished in third place that season while Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis took home the Mirrorball Trophy. Val and his partner Danica McKellar finished in sixth place.
