Will ‘Hannah Swensen’ Fans Have To Wait Long For New Hallmark Mystery?
Sleuthers are buzzing about the latest Hannah Swensen Mystery called One Bad Apple. These Hallmark superfans want to know what is next. Will the network be making another movie in this series that is formerly known as Murder She Baked?
Here is a big clue that fans of this Hallmark Mystery series based on the Joanne Fluke cozy novels should be excited about.

Is Hallmark Mystery Getting Ready To Film New Hannah Swensen Mystery?
On Friday night, Sleuthers cozied up to One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery on Hallmark Mystery. Fans saw the incomparable Alison Sweeney reprise her role as the baker-sleuth. Not only did the Days alum star in this movie, she also wrote it!
Of course, everyone has been talking about new addition of Victor Webster as prosecuting attorney Chad Norton. Chad and Hannah had some sizzling chemistry. However, he does everything by the book. Meanwhile, Hannah goes by gut instinct and those theories don’t work in court.
Barbara Niven shined as Delores, who is now a PI. Yes, she is a private investigator. Delores has gone from scolding Hannah for finding dead bodies to investigating people on whether or not they are cheating.
Lastly, Norman was back. Gabriel Hogan reprised his role as Hannah’s wingman. Surprisingly, Delores wasn’t the one trying to set Hannah up, but her two sisters seemed to hint at something more.
Now that this movie has premiered, could there be more? It certainly looks like it!
Although Hallmark has not made an announcement, In Production Vancouver has listed something of interest. This industry publication listed Appetite For Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery as going into publication soon.
Again, it should be noted that Hallmark has not made an official announcement about a possible new Hannah Swensen Mystery. But, this is a publication that is almost always accurate.
Sometimes there is a delay in production due to illness or another issue. But, this does look promising.

What Do We Know About Appetite For Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery?
Thanks to the industry publication In Production Vancouver, it looks like Hallmark Mystery is making a new Hannah Swensen Mystery. This one is called Appetite For Murder.
Second, the director listed is Kevin Leslie. Kevin has been an assistant director, but this appears to be Kevin’s directorial debut. Kevin Leslie has previously worked on several of Alison Sweeney’s movies as a producer. This includes several Hannah Swensen Mysteries including A Zest For Death, Carrot Cake Murder, and even her Jane Austen-themed contribution, Love & Jane.
Lastly, the schedule shows that they will be in production between April 11 through April 30. That is just in a few days!

The big question is whether Hallmark Mystery will premiere this new mystery before the end of 2024. It seems very probable. There will certainly be some new details forthcoming.
