Jimmy Kimmel’s son, Billy, 6, and Kirsten Dunst’s son, Ennis, 5, are in the same kindergarten class. When talk about their children came up, the Jimmy Kimmel Live host couldn’t help but bring up a recent altercation between their sons.

“They had a fight, you know,” Jimmy laughed. “Do you know about this?” Evidently, the Spiderman actress learned about the incident during a recent parent-teacher conference with their teacher, Ms. Julie.

The two stars then shared the story, as they heard it, with each other. They wanted to see if either of their kids left out any details.

Kirsten Dunst started to explain the situation. She said, “I think Billy was sitting in a chair, and then Ennis went to maybe sharpen a pencil, came back, saw there was an empty chair, and sat in it. And then Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was in his chair.”

Jimmy then revealed that his son told him that it was the other way around. He admitted neither of their kids was a reliable source. “There was a displacement there and then they both cried,” he concluded the story.

“They’re a very sweet group of boys,” Kirsten added. “They all get along very well.”

Other Stars Reveal Stories About Their Kids Fighting

Kirsten Dunst and Jimmy Kimmel aren’t the only two stars whose kids have gotten into tussles at school. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum shared that the first time they met was in the preschool’s principal’s office.

The pair were guests on Late Late Show with James Corden in March 2022. “We have two very, very strong-willed little girls that, you know, at that young age were very much butting heads,” Channing Tatum said.

Sandra Bullock laughed and said that any time she received a call from the preschool she always hoped it was Channing’s daughter who started the fight. After several incidents, the two stars decided to go to the school to see how they could work things out.

Last year, Channing Tatum revealed that the two girls actually became best friends after that. “They love each other now, literally can’t get enough of each other,” he said in January 2023. “They just want to hang out all the time.”
