When you travel as much as Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo do, hopping on the next plane is just a regular day at the office. However, a recent incident while traveling was anything but routine for this husband and wife. So, what happened?
Jelly Roll and his wife were on a plane on Thursday, April 4. They were catching a flight to make it to the upcoming CMT Music Awards when the plane they were on had to make an emergency landing. Jelly Roll and his crew were flying to Austin via a private jet. The 2024 CMT Music Awards take place on April 7.
Jelly Roll will present and perform at this year’s CMT Music Awards ceremony. This was certainly more than a little hiccup in his travel plans. The plane had to be re-routed.

Is Everything Okay With The Husband And Wife?
Bunnie Xo told her many followers that they had to turn the plane around and make an emergency landing because of a “malfunction,” but she didn’t go into specifics as to what was wrong with the aircraft. Bunny said: “When the private jet you’re in just stopped mid air, turned around & said we had to emergency land because of a malfunction.”
Luckily, everything resolved, and there was no additional bad news to report despite this scary incident mid-flight. Bunnie later updated her followers again, saying: “We landed but might have to get back on the same plane.”

The good news is, everything seemed to work out in the end, and Jelly and Bunnie will be able to attend the upcoming CMT Music Awards as planned. It’s always a terrifying experience whenever there’s an issue with a plane you’re on, but, the good news is, everything turned out fine, and Jelly Roll, Bunnie, and the rest of their crew made it through this ordeal in one piece.
