Elizabeth Hurley is suspected of being the “older woman” Prince Harry talks about losing his virginity to in his memoir Spare. The 58-year-old British actress was a guest on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday and she addressed the rumor that is going around. So, is it true? Prince Harry’s Tell-All Memoir Poses Questions
The prince’s relationship with his family has been strained due to the release of his memoir. Harry chose to step down from the royal family in 2021. However, his memoir which discusses various family members at length has been the reason the relationship remains difficult.
Prince Harry, 39, is now living in America with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children. In his memoir, Spare, he talks about losing his virginity. The prince said that it was an “inglorious episode” and that the experience occurred with an “older woman.”
“She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion. Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me off to graze,” Prince Harry wrote. “Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.”
People immediately started trying to pinpoint who the older lady might be. Several fan theories pointed to Elizabeth Hurley as the potential mystery woman.
Elizabeth Hurley Finally Sets The Record Straight
A fan asked her on Watch What Happens whether or not she was the older woman that Harry talks about in his book Spare. She jumped at the chance to set the record straight.
Despite the rumors, Elizabeth Hurley insists that she isn’t the cougar mentioned in Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir.
“That was ludicrous!” the actress said in response. “He said, ‘She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And they were like, ‘Ah, it’s Elizabeth.’ It was absurd. It was ridiculous. It was like saying, ‘He’s great-looking. He’s American.’ Oh, it’s Andy Cohen.”
To top it off, Elizabeth said that she’d never met Prince Harry before. That being said, the British actress has met his father, King Charles, several times. She has also met his brother, Prince William.
Additionally, Elizabeth Hurley and Prince Harry were both named in the same lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, which publishes the Daily Mail. That’s the only relation anyone will find between the two individuals though.
Elizabeth doesn’t have a lame love life though. She was married to Arun Nayar, an Indian businessman, from 2007 to 2011. Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley also had a lengthy romance. The actress also shares a son, Damian Hurley, with the late Steve Bing.
