Andy Cohen Shocks Fans With Blunt Admission
Although Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen is generally fairly blunt, he did something uncharacteristic. Naturally, as a talk show host, he often spouts his opinion with candor. However, Andy admits regret for one of his recent statements.
Andy Cohen Eats His Words
Not long ago, Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen, gave his two cents flippantly. However, now he is bluntly admitting he was wrong. In particular, he is humbly apologizing for jumping the gun by questioning Kate Middleton’s whereabouts. Undoubtedly, his eager remarks added fuel to the already burning wildfire rumors that Prince William was having an affair. Unfortunately, in light of Kate announcing her cancer diagnosis, Andy is eating his words.
Andy Cohen Regrets His Crass Words
On the Monday broadcast of his SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen rolls back his earlier comments. He remorsefully states, “I just want to say, I am heartbroken by the news about Princess Kate.” Further showing his regret for his crass words, he says, “I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right.” Although it is in retrospect, he admits he wishes he had kept his “mouth shut.” Furthermore extending compassion he says, “We are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles.”
During the time that Andy was chiming in about Kate Middleton, many speculations and rumors were floating around about not only Kate but the entire royal family. Undoubtedly, it is easy to see where he added his opinion to a family that has a track record for allegedly hiding scandals. However the truth was much harder to hear when realizing the mother of Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 was facing cancer. Notably, the Watch What Happens Live host wants to right the wrong the best he can by offering a blunt admission and straightforward apology.
Kate Middleton’s Cancer Was A Shock
All in all, Andy Cohen had no way of knowing the future queen was struggling with cancer. Notably, his apology comes slightly a week after Kate Middleton gave her explanation about her suspenseful public absence. “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous. The surgery was successful,” Kate says.
“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.” Although Kate didn’t discuss details of the type of cancer, she shared it “came as a huge shock.” Admittedly, Kate adds, “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
Moreover, Kate Middleton requests “some time, space, and privacy” while she and her family navigate this illness.
