John Cusimano and the former Food Network star got married in September 2005 in Tuscany, Italy. Although the couple is happily married, they chose not to have children. Instead, they share three dogs named Boo, Isaboo, and Bella Boo Blue.
When it came time to discuss having kids, Rachael Ray knew that she did not want to add children into her busy lifestyle. She has said, “I have an enormous amount of hours that have to be dedicated to working. For me personally, I would need more time to feel like I’d be a good mom to my own child. I feel like a borderline good mom to my dog.”
She continued, saying she couldn’t imagine how having human kids would feel. Rachael said she felt like it wouldn’t be fair to her children or the people she works with on a daily basis.
However, there was never any love lost between Rachael Ray and her husband John or his family. She will miss her mother-in-law dearly.
