Jesse Palmer Hinted At Kelsey’s Dad For Next ‘Golden Bachelor’
Bachelor fans first met Kelsey Anderson’s dad during her hometown date in New Orleans. Mark Anderson is a widow after caring for his wife until she passed away from cancer. Almost immediately fans began petitioning for Mark to become the next Golden Bachelor. Last night at the After the Final Rose live event, Jesse Palmer hinted that it could become a reality. Kelsey’s Dad For Next Golden Bachelor?
Monday night on After the Final Rose, Jesse Palmer hinted that perhaps the franchise is trying to get Kelsey’s dad Mark on board to be the next Golden Bachelor.
After speaking with Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson who just got engaged on the finale, Jesse looked at him and said they may be seeing him later this year. Mark Anderson just smiled and kind of nodded his head in agreement. Big hint?
Fans loved everything about Mark when they first saw him on The Bachelor. Some were thirsting over him. Even one of the top execs for ABC, Rob Mills, noted that he would be an amazing Golden Bachelor.
When the subject was first brought up to him, Kelsey said her dad joked around saying he was too young. However, this latest hint from Jesse has fans wondering if they have already found their next leading man.
Would He Take The Job? Kelsey Weighs In
People caught up with Kelsey Anderson and asked her about her father potentially being The Golden Bachelor. At first, she said she was traumatized by all the photos and fans thirsting for her dad. However, she thought about it and changed her mind. She said, “But then I decided to take a step back and I was like, ‘You know what? My dad deserves all of this praise and love. He is an amazing dad, and he was an amazing husband to my mom.’ I think that my dad deserves all the love.”
Kelsey went on to say that her dad is open to the possibility especially because he sees how happy Kelsey and Joey are together. Mark has told his daughter that she never would have met Joey if not for the show.
She also said her mom always wanted him to be happy if she passed away first. Kelsey lost her mom in 2018.
Joey thinks his father-in-law-to-be would crush it as the lead. He said, “He has a presence about him. So, if he’s open to it, I think he’d do really well.”
