First Look At Jesse Palmer, Joey Graziadei On ABC Drama ‘9-1-1’
An ambulance known from the show 9-1-1 was spotted outside the Bachelor mansion recently. Jesse Palmer and Joey Graziadei will guest-star on the ABC drama next month. Stay on this page for a first look at the explosive episode.
ABC Rescues 9-1-1 After Cancellation
The 9-1-1 drama about a brigade of Los Angeles first responders premiered on Fox in 2018. The series stars Peter Krause as the captain of Station 118, Angela Bassett as a police officer, and Jennifer Love Hewitt as a 911 dispatcher.
The series was canceled in 2023 after six seasons. However, ABC rescued the show. Season 7 premiered earlier this month.
Bachelor Crossover Planned
Bachelor Nation fans were concerned when an ambulance was spotted outside the mansion where the shows film. But eagle-eyed 9-1-1 fans recognized it as one from the fictional Station 118. ABC planned a promotional crossover between the first responders show and The Bachelor.
Little was known about the episode at the time, but a new teaser reveals how host Jesse Palmer and Joey Graziadei are involved in the episode.
First Look At Jesse Palmer, Joey Graziadei On 9-1-1
Joey Graziadei is done filming at the famed Bachelor mansion. In fact, his season just ended with a heartbreak and an engagement. The next show to film at the mansion will be Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette, which will air this fall.
However, Joey and Jesse returned to the mansion for a very special reason: to film an episode of 9-1-1. The episode features a mishap of some sort with Joey and his fictional contestants.
The first-look trailer indicates that one of the iconic limos has a mishap when approaching the mansion. As viewers of The Bachelor know, the lead meets their contestants out front of the mansion when they arrive one-by-one in a limo or other transportation. Jenn Tran made quite the entrance for Season 28 by arriving in a go-kart.
The 9-1-1 episode also features Station 118 firefighters Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark) and Edmundo Diaz (Ryan Guzman,) who look taken with the stunning contestants.
The special Bachelor episode of 9-1-1 with Joey Graziadei and Jesse Palmer airs on ABC on Thursday, April 4, at 8 PM Eastern. Catch up on 9-1-1 on Hulu. All six previous seasons are streaming.
9-1-1 showrunner Tim Minear told TV Line that the show is open to other crossovers with the ABC universe, including Grey’s Anatomy and Abbett Elementary. However, fans shouldn’t expect a crossover between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lonestar. The latter, which stars Rob Lowe, still airs on Fox.
