Trishelle Cannatella Dishes On ‘Traitors’ Season 2 Pay Gap
Traitors Season 2 winner Trishelle Cannatella dished about the huge pay gap between contestants. Who made the most and does she resent them? Keep reading for all the juicy tea she spilled.
Trishelle Cannatella Dishes On ‘Traitors’ Season 2 Pay Gap
Season 2 of Peacock’s popular reality competition The Traitors wrapped up earlier this month. The season ended in a shocking betrayal that saw The Challenge alums ‘CT’ Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella split the final jackpot of over $200,000. But to do it, they had to betray and banish Mercedes “MJ” Javid.
Although the show ended several weeks ago, viewers are still interested in all the behind-the-scenes details of the Peacock reality show. It’s already been renewed for Season 3. Season 2 contestants Trishelle Cannatella and Peter Weber joined Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick for a recent episode of his Trading Secrets podcast.
Since the podcast is about finances, it’s no surprise that Jason asked about how much the contestants were paid. Season 1 contestant Arie Luyendyk Jr. recently revealed the shockingly low pay for the first season. He speculated that the Season 2 contestants raked in the big bucks in the “triple digits.” Was he right?
According to Trishelle, not everyone in Season 2 was paid the same amount. She knows because fellow contestant Sandra Diaz-Twine asked everyone on the first day of filming how much they were making. Trishelle joked that she hadn’t even had a chance to introduce herself before Sandra asked about her pay rate.
While Trishelle didn’t give a specific number, she revealed that Sandra made double what she did.

No Hard Feelings
Sandra Diaz-Twine is a legend to reality TV viewers. She’s appeared on six different seasons of Survivor, including the Australian version in 2022. She made history as the only contestant to ever win Survivor twice. She won Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.
Many fans thought she might win Traitors too. In fact, she almost did but was banished in the season finale.
Despite the massive pay gap, Trishelle Cannatella doesn’t resent Sandra. “She’s won Survivor twice, she deserves it,” she said on Jason Tartick’s podcast. “That’s true,” he agreed.
@jason_tartick What were they paid to be on Traitors?
With the wild success of the Peacock reality competition, it remains a question if the Season 3 contestants will get a pay bump. Does it surprise you that Sandra made double what Trishelle did? Who do you want to see compete in the next season? Share your thoughts in the comments.
