Alyssa Milano Overcharges Selfies Amid GoFundMe Debacle
Alyssa Milano just overcharged on selfies amid her recent GoFundMe debacle. The former Charmed star caught immense heat for attempting to raise funds for her son’s sports team. So, it would seem she would try to humble herself, at least for appearance’s sake. That did not happen. Keep reading for all of the details.
Alyssa Milano Overcharges Selfies Amid GoFundMe Debacle
For decades, Alyssa Milano has been in the spotlight with shows like Who’s The Boss?, Melrose Place, Charmed, Project Runway All Stars, and more. She also made her mark in films with Commando, Fear, and Hall Pass plus she is a stunner so she has had promo deals, as well. Then, in 2009, she wed David Bugliari and together, they had two children. Yet, nearly a year ago, the actress helped make a GoFundMe to help her son, Milo, and his travel baseball team. Their goal was 10K but she did not use “Milano” in the fundraiser.
Rather, she opted to use her married name so it was less obvious who she was and what she was doing. By early 2024, it all came to light with the GFM making upwards of 15K. Clearly, fans did not understand this and why she opted to go this route when seemingly, she has plenty of money. Milano clapped back, noting she had: “paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.” Despite this backlash for doing the GoFundMe with an estimated 10 million net worth, Alyssa just appeared at ’90s Con in Hartford, CT.

It brings together iconic nineties celebs from TV, music, and movies, allowing them to meet and greet fans. Alyssa Milano had her own setup but, according to The Sun, she was charging $80 for a fan phone selfie. A professional snap was $90, an autograph was $80, and finally, a selfie/autograph combo was $140. It would seem she would be more economically and fan-friendly given how she was just slammed. Plus, there were so many fun celebs there such as the cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Boy Meets World.
It Did Not Seem To Matter
Regardless of being slammed for her excessive GoFundMe, Alyssa Milano fans seemed thrilled with her appearance. This was in spite of the prices. It is said that she opted out of panels, choosing to spend the day with the fans. Milano was there all day Saturday, March 16th, and partly, Sunday, March 17th. One eventgoer had this to say about Alyssa’s booth: “At any given time on Saturday, Alyssa had a very long line compared to the other stars.” It could be around two hours or more, even with a reservation.

Despite the long wait times, she was apparently very kind: “She was sweet and took the time to greet each fan, and even said that she would stay longer just to meet as many as she can.” So, the prices may have been higher but her personal generosity paid off.
