Abbie Duggar, the wife of John David Duggar grows on Counting On fans, but now they suspect she started a new business. Not that long ago, TLC fans shouted her out for breaking Jim Bob Duggar’s dress codes. However, it doesn’t take long to change the minds of critics.
Abbie Duggar Trained As A Nurse
TLC fans hoped that John David would allow his wife to continue nursing after they married. However, that didn’t happen or it only happened briefly. Nevertheless, she did consider it during the pandemic, and Counting On covered that in Season 11, Episode 1. By then, the TLC star had welcomed her daughter, Gracie, and she decided it wouldn’t be worth putting her child at risk. Now, fans think she started a new business with hair products.
Abbie Duggar has been pushing hair products for a few months, so TLC fans think she might be starting a new business. The rumors started after the Counting On alum announced a surprise. Well, it turned out to be an endorsement for Monat hair products. Over time, she did several gatherings of friends to test out the ones that make hair curly.

Counting On Alum Has An MLM Business?
This week, when John David Duggar’s wife shared about hair products on her Instagram stories, a screenshot in the post said:
As predicted, my husband says I shouldn’t wear my hair any other way than this from now on. And my mom wants me to bring home my products and see what they can do for her hair too. Thanks again for a fun morning. I still can’t get over not only how good my curls looked, but also how well they held up today! Signed another happy customer.
Abbie Duggar also added some text, saying., “My neighbor came over this week and we washed her hair with THE products! Who else is ready for a hair transformation??”
Soon it ended up on Reddit, and the OP wondered:
abbie starts her own business.
Lots of comments went in about Abbie Duggar and running a business of the MLM kind.
- Her own business? Or is she shilling for an MLM? They are not the same.
- I thought they went under when everyone’s hair started falling out.
- Monat is at best, hair products with salon/luxury prices for a cheap cr-p product. At worst it causes hair loss and thinning. She’s not very bright if she thinks this cr-p will help her hair.
- Idk why but nurses are susceptible to these MLMs. I’m a nurse and hate them, but I see so many people fall for them.
- She joined a pyramid scheme shilling cheap hair products that cause hair loss, scalp injury, and serious damage to curls.
What are your thoughts about Abbie Duggar plugging the Monat hair products? Do you think she’s part of an MLM business? Or is she just advertising for a friend? As the screenshot referred to a “customer,” it certainly seems like she climbed aboard the MLM train. Do you agree?
