‘Married To Medicine’ Fans Question Phaedra’s Value

Married to Medicine fans are questioning Phaedra Parks’ value and what she brings to the Bravo series. The lawyer and mortician seemed like an interesting choice for the show. Now, viewers are wondering why she was even chosen for it. Read on for more details.

Married To Medicine Fans Question Phaedra’s Value

Phaedra Parks is best known for her time on RHOA. She then appeared on the second season of RHUGT which took place in the Berkshires. Viewers who had not seen her in some time really took to the mother of two. More than that, they had a new appreciation for her as she seemed to have softened some. Plus, her personality was fun and sparkly. This caused her to join Season 4 of RHUGT, taking place in Morocco. Unfortunately, due to the drama between Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville, it may never air. Then, she was cast for Season 10 of Married to Medicine after being a guest in Season 3.

Unfortunately, fans do not see the value in Phaedra on this series. A Reddit thread was started to address their feelings with the OP saying this:

• • What does she bring to the show? I am sure this has already been discussed but hearing that Phaedra may have signed on to M2M for 3 years, I need answers!!! She isn’t married, let alone married or dating anyone, especially not a doctor!!! Why is she on this show? She really offered nothing but her the Titanic line. Please someone help me understand!? Like Kenya being on RHOA as a single woman all those years…. I don’t get it

She has a great personality so it is entirely possible she just fit in with these women. So, what did followers have to say Phaedra brought to the show if anything?

• The only thing she brought was more attention to M2M which honestly is great.
• Lightness. I like Phaedra and her country southern belle jargon. She’s the Anila of the cast
• She started drama between Quad and Sweet Tea but that’s basically her thing.

Too Boring

One follower said that Married to Medicine was so boring that it will be canceled before Phaedra Parks’ contract is up. However, another contended that this is not like the Housewives franchise. The show does revolve around marriages and that is not something Parks has. It was brought up how she stirs the pot and she did so on RHOA. Yet, the allegations that she created about Kandi Burruss drugging Porsha Williams were also noted. They were then put to rest when a Redditor said this:

• people behind the scenes admitted that it was production who planted that seed and let her take the fall. it wasn’t like she could say that.

So, Phaedra needed a new show and she got one. Maybe it is not the perfect fit just yet but one fan stated that it is only her first season. She needs time to settle in. Plus, she is coming off of Season 2 of The Traitors which may have garnered her more fans. Time will tell.
